Head northeast on Route 243 from Dominical.
Route 243 is the main road leading inland from the coastal highway (Route 34).
Continue on Route 243 for about 8 kilometers (5 miles) until you reach the turnoff for the Waterfalls. You will see signs indicating the direction to Pura Vida Falls.
Turn right at the sign for the Waterfalls. This road leads down the hill and over a green bridge. Continue straight for roughly 2 km until you see the sign for the Pura Vida Falls community and the guardhouse on the right.
From San Isidro

Head west on Route 243 towards Dominical.
This road takes you through the mountains and offers scenic views.
Continue on Route 243 for approximately 19 kilometers (12 miles). As you approach the area near the Waterfalls, watch for signs indicating the turnoff.
Turn left at the sign for the Waterfalls. This road leads down the hill and over a green bridge. Continue straight for roughly 2 km until you see the sign for the Pura Vida Falls community and the guardhouse on the right.
From San José

Exit the airport and take Route 1 (Autopista General Cañas) towards San José, heading east.
Merge onto Route 27 (Autopista José María Castro Madriz) heading towards Caldera. This is a toll road.
Continue on Route 27 until you reach the exit for Route 34 (Costanera Sur) towards Jacó and Quepos.
Take Route 34 south. You’ll pass through several towns, including Jacó, Esterillos, and Parrita. Continue towards Quepos and then to Dominical. Stay on Route 34, and you will reach Dominical.
